Hi, I'm Carolyn..I've had a Colostomy for 9 yrs ( after cancer)now and in most area I quickly adjusted..life was not hindered in any way.In fact it was better because I had my HEALTH BACK .. But I have always struggled with "Body Image" during intimacy.. but i just "carried on regardless" My husband didn't have a problem with the bag.. I DID! I have tried heaps of things but I just found a very different type of undergarment that has been a tremendous boost to my self confidence.I don't know how I managed without it. Many replies I have recieved from notice boards have suggested that i just get used to it and let it just hang there.. If others can do that great for them, but I just can't and as I reckon there must be other ostomates out there like me I wanted to share with them the solution I found.
